Analysis of unit economics / Calculation and price scenarios

Changing the price? First, count what's left.

Let’s analyze the costs of the selected goods by Wildberries or Ozon and compare the two price options with the current model. You will see what expenses affect the result, what changes with a discount and what information you need to clarify before purchasing or promotion.

  • Up to 10 products for a single marketplace
  • Checking transferred costs
  • Current calculation and 2 scenarios
from RUB 4,900per analysis

Current calculation and two price scenarios - based on your initial data.

Your task is the starting point

When price decisions cannot be made by eye.

01

Planning a discount or promotion

You need to see how a different price will affect the calculation before agreeing to the terms of the promotion.

02

Prepare your purchase

The supplier's price is known, but the sales costs have not yet been collected into one model.

03

There are sales, the result is unclear

You want to check the source data and not confuse the turnover, markup and financial result per unit of goods.

What is included in the work

From disparate expenses to a verifiable solution.

01

Initial data

We agree on the goods and period. We will compare the provided prices, production costs, commissions, logistics and other expenses. Let's note the missing information before calculation.

List of input data and questions that require clarification.
02

Current Economy

We will collect calculations for selected goods with clear cost items and assumptions. We will separate the planned scenario from actual sales for the period.

Calculation in which the basis of the final value is visible.
03

Two price scenarios

Let's compare the agreed price options and their impact on the economy. We will not assume that a price reduction in itself guarantees the desired increase in orders.

Compare options before making changes in the store.
04

Analysis of conclusions

We will explain which expenses have a greater impact on the result, where additional verification is required and under what conditions the chosen option can be discussed.

Conclusions for deciding on price, discount or purchase.
Comparison before making changes in the store

The current model and two price options are side by side.

For each product we show the initial conditions and two agreed price options. You see what changes in the calculation and what data the conclusion is based on. Below is the comparison structure that will be prepared by a specialist.

  1. 01

    Current model

    What we record

Original price, cost, site expenses and other costs provided.

    What question are we answering

What happens under the initial conditions and what expenses have not yet been confirmed?

  2. 02

    First price option

    What we record

The agreed price - for example, to participate in a promotion - and the associated cost conditions.

    What question are we answering

How will the calculation per unit of goods change compared to the original model?

  3. 03

    Second price option

    What we record

An alternative price for the same product with explicitly stated assumptions.

    What question are we answering

How do the options differ and what information is missing to make a decision?

In each option we note unconfirmed expenses and assumptions. Changes in prices in the account and demand forecast are not included in the calculation.

Is there a price for a promotion or next purchase? Let's discuss which options to compare.

Result that can be used

Calculation by goods and two price scenarios with breakdown of costs.

You receive a calculation and a comparison of options. We do not treat a missing expense as zero, and we state assumptions explicitly. This helps you use the model after the meeting instead of relying on a single final number.

Included in analysis

Test of transferred costs, current model, two price scenarios and explanation of findings.

Not replaced by calculation

Closing the books, restoring primary documents and changing prices in the account. The module subscription and specialist services are paid for separately.

Operating procedure

First we confirm the expenses. Then we compare the options.

01

Selecting products

We determine the assortment, the site and the decision that needs to be made.

02

Checking costs

We clarify the sources, period and gaps in the source data.

03

Counting options

We collect the current model and two agreed price scenarios.

04

Looking at the result

We convey the calculation and explain the conclusions, assumptions and next steps.

The deadline will be agreed upon after reviewing the source data. If some of the costs are missing, we first determine what can be calculated reliably and what needs to be clarified.

Cost and composition

Before ordering

To select the appropriate format.

Is this a service or module SellerStrat?

A specialist’s work is ordered here: data verification, calculation and explanation of scenarios. Independent work in the Unit Economics module is a separate way to solve the problem; subscription does not mean that the analysis has already been paid for.

What to do if some of the expenses are unknown?

We will note the missing information and discuss how to clarify it. We do not treat an unknown expense as zero. A scenario with assumptions is not presented as confirmed actual profit.

Will you set the calculated price in the store?

No. The basic analysis ends with calculations and conclusions. Changing prices requires a separate decision by the owner and coordinated work in the workspace.

After calculation, the product will definitely be profitable?

The calculation shows the economy under the specified data and conditions. It does not guarantee demand, order volume, or constant site costs.

I don't have any sales yet. Can I count before launch?

Yes, we will prepare a planning model based on the selected goods and provided costs. We will indicate the assumptions and information that need to be confirmed. This model is not the actual profit of the store.

Which two scenarios will we compare?

We choose them based on your question: for example, the price for a promotion and the alternative selling price. In each scenario, we explicitly record the changed conditions. Preparation of the entire pricing strategy for the store is not included in the basic analysis.
